The Story Cabinet


An installation: five wooden cabinets made from reconditioned wooden drawers that house paper sculptures depicting folk tales. A collaboration with Richard Clarke and Dagmara Rudkin with contributions from Mags Swift, Juliette Rajak, Lou Wishart and Katie Perrett. It has been exhibited twice at Hove Museum and Art Gallery.

The Wish Tree was constructed following suggestions made by the public in response to the Story Cabinet during it's first exhibition at Hove Museum. Approx 5ft tall.

Magical Storyland Panels:  folk tales depicted 2D in paper and card made to assist in the reading of The Story Cabinet whilst it was on exhibition.

Commissioned by Hove Museum for the Magical Storyland exhibition, they illustrate the contents of The Story Cabinet providing a key to the folk tales within it.
